Future Ready Teens -
Are you ready?

The Afrikindness Youth Employability Workshop is designed to equip young people aged 15–21 with the essential skills needed to thrive in today’s competitive job market and beyond.

Participants will develop practical employability skills including CV and cover letter writing, interview preparation, linkedin optimisation and personal branding alongside future-focused learning in personal development and career planning.

A key focus of the programme is helping young people build a strong professional identity, including LinkedIn optimisation and personal branding, so they can confidently present themselves to future employers, apprenticeships, and education pathways.

This is more than a workshop—it is a space for young people to build confidence, discover their strengths, and begin shaping their future with purpose and direction.

Young people are encouraged to register and invest in building future-ready skills today.

Important Notice for Youth Employability Workshop

All young people are required to bring a laptop for the session, as activities will involve hands-on digital learning and practical tasks.

If you do not have access to a laptop, we will provide one for use on the day (limited to 30 devices, available on a first-come, first-served basis).

Please ensure you come prepared with your own laptop where possible to avoid disappointment and fully participate in the workshop.

Important Attendance Requirement

Parents/guardians must attend the Parent Conference, while young people attend the Youth Employability Workshop. This ensures parents receive key resources and guidance, and are also responsible for arranging lunch catering for their young person.
