Childcare

Childminding is available for registered children aged 3–14 years while their parent/carer attends APIC 2026 within the same conference venue. The service will be delivered by an independent professional childcare provider Honey Bee Nursery Leeds with appropriate safeguarding and safety procedures in place. Parents must remain on site and contactable throughout the conference. 

Childcare must be requested during registration and is subject to availability and safe staffing capacity. Parents will be required to complete a child registration and consent form, including emergency contacts, allergies, medical conditions, SEND/additional needs and any other information necessary to support their child safely.

Childcare Arrangement 

  • Childcare will be available onsite during the main conference on 24 October.
  • Provision is for children aged 3–14 years.
  • Childcare will be provided by a qualified childcare provider, Honey Bee Nursery with appropriate DBS, safeguarding, insurance and first-aid arrangements in place.
  • Parents must indicate childcare needs during registration so we can plan numbers and age groups.

  • Please arrive before 9:30am if your child will be using the childcare provision.
  • Children should arrive with any essential personal items in a clearly named bag.
  • Snacks and drinks will be provided; please tell us about any allergies or dietary requirements.
  • Activities will include arts and crafts, colouring, games, reading, creative play and age-appropriate learning activities. Parents will get a brief of the activities on the day of the conference.
  • Parents must provide an emergency contact number and remain onsite at the conference.
  • Spaces are limited and will be allocated based on confirmed registration.
  • Full drop-off, collection and safeguarding arrangements will be shared with registered parents before the event.
