Winnie Ebunobi is a UK-qualified Workplace Mental Health First Aider, certified Life and Neuroscience Coach, and founder of Phoenix Africa Group, a wellbeing consultancy that helps SMEs identify workplace wellbeing risks and embed practical, performance-focused mental resilience strategies.

With frontline experience supporting patient services at one of the UK’s leading mental health organisations and a background as a former executive member of the wellbeing team at a major UK bank, Winnie brings a unique blend of corporate, clinical, and community expertise to her work.

Passionate about improving mental wellbeing for underserved communities, Winnie leads 

community impact programmes that empower migrant communities through preventative wellbeing education, mental resilience building, and open conversations that challenge the stigma surrounding mental health. Her work equips individuals to recognise the early signs of burnout, seek appropriate support, and build the confidence to thrive. Through her advocacy and leadership, Winnie is helping to amplify an authentic African voice within the UK’s mental health landscape, championing culturally informed approaches that reflect the lived experiences, resilience, and wellbeing of migrant communities.
