Early Years Manager | Designated Safeguarding Lead | Paediatric First Aider
Nafeesa Talbot is an experienced Early Years professional and the day-to-day Manager of Honey Bee Nursery/Pre-School in Leeds, a role she has held for over 14 years.
Passionate about giving every child the best possible start in life, Nafeesa believes that the early years provide the essential foundation for a child’s learning, development and future wellbeing. She is committed to creating safe, nurturing and inclusive environments in which children can thrive and reach their full potential.
Nafeesa is a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) with safeguarding and child protection training relevant to Early Years settings, Private, Voluntary and Independent (PVI) provision and childminding. She also holds a Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid and is a trained First Aider.
With extensive experience of safeguarding within Early Years provision, Nafeesa works closely with parents, carers and other professionals to promote children’s safety and wellbeing and ensure that individual needs are recognised and appropriately supported.
Her work is underpinned by a strong commitment to safeguarding, child protection, partnership working and ensuring that the voices and needs of vulnerable children remain at the heart of practice.
