Afrikindness Mental Health Community Leader
Lamin Kinteh is a Trainee Nursing Associate with a strong passion for improving health outcomes and supporting the wellbeing of diverse communities. Originally from The Gambia and holding Swedish nationality, he brings a multicultural perspective to his work and is committed to promoting inclusive, person-centred care. He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the University of Huddersfield, demonstrating a unique combination of analytical thinking, strategic planning and healthcare experience. Alongside his professional training, he is an active Mental Health Community Leader with Afrikindness, where he has played a key role in supporting community mental health initiatives, raising awareness, engaging families, and helping to reduce stigma surrounding mental health within Black and ethnically diverse communities.
He is passionate about creating safe spaces where individuals can access support, share experiences and build resilience. Through his commitment to community engagement, health advocacy and service, he continues to inspire others by promoting wellbeing, inclusion and culturally responsive approaches to care.
