Employability training and Talent development Lead
Dr Sandra Obiora is a Senior Lecturer of Business, Future Workforce and Talent Development Consultant, and Multidisciplinary Sustainability and AI Researcher who specialises in preparing people for the changing world of work. She has extensive experience designing and delivering employability training for undergraduates, postgraduates, teens, academics at various career levels, entrepreneurs, and industry professionals across the UK, West Africa, Brazil, and Southern Africa. Her work combines labour market intelligence, digital capability, behavioural insight, and future-of-work research to help learners build confidence, clarity, and long-term career resilience.
Sandra has trained West African academics on research visibility and employability, supported multidisciplinary British Council initiatives, and advised organisations on capability building, sustainability transitions, and strategic growth. Dr Sandra is the executive in charge of Employability training and talent development at Afrikindness.
