Dr. Anwuli Irene Ofuani-Sokolo is an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Benin, Nigeria, and a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
Her research focuses on disability rights, gender equality, and human rights, with a strong commitment to inclusive legal frameworks. She has conducted studies on supported decision-making, accessibility, and inclusive education for persons with disabilities, and has contributed to disability-inclusive policy reform, including the simplification of the Edo State Disability Law in Nigeria. She has also contributed to disability curriculum development, most notably through University Disability Rights Curriculum programmes, including her involvement in drafting the curriculum for the Disability Law Advocacy Project at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria.
